A challenging 10 mile walk was completed by 18 of our wonderful family and friends. Harry came along too! A huge well done to Joseph, who at only 6, walked the whole way with his new friend Gem the dog! Well done also to Isobel, 2 years, for a brilliant effort and our youngest 'walker' Kirsten, 6 weeks (courtesy of her mummy - well done Holly!). Finally, we hope Robyn had a wonderful birthday, and we were thrilled she decided to spend it with us! Thanks for the 'drinkies' at the end!
Our story…
Last summer at 20 weeks pregnant, we found out that our baby son would be born missing his left arm below the elbow. We were devastated and full of worry about what the future would hold. REACH helped us come to terms with this news and has provided us with so much information and support. As well as parental support, the opportunities they provide the kids are brilliant and without a doubt Harry will get so much out of it as he grows up.
As you can see from the photos Harry is a gorgeous, happy little boy who has bought us so much joy. We are confident that as he grows up REACH will be there to help ensure he reaches his full potential. As the REACH motto goes, its ability not disability that counts.
Sincere thanks
Chrissie and Stu Arnold-Pepper and all our friends joining us on the 3!
