Thank you so much to all who have donated so far to help Lee's family. However, as the lengthy trial continues, still the family are faced with more costs and the money raised so far has already been used on flights and accomodation. If you feel you are able to donate to allow the Heath's to travel to Frankfurt to see justice for their son, then they will be so grateful. Thank you.

In April 2011 Lee Heath was brutally killed in Frankfurt Germany. His grieving family are now having to deal with the added trauma of being required to attend a long and distressing process while the trial of Lee's alleged killers takes place. On top of this, they are also faced with huge costs of flying to and from Frankfurt for the trial at least 13 times. This, along with hotel and other necessary fees could mount to at least £7500.

Any amount you can donate towards the families costs will help to ease the stress on the family and allow them to focus on grievingand finding justice for their son.

Missing Abroad are running this appeal in conjunction with The Essex Chronicle. Missing Abroad is a programme run by UK Registered Charity The Lucie Blackman Trust. Working in partnership with the Foreign Office and being a commissioned service provider to The Ministry of Justice's National Homicide Service, it provides practical support for those families with a loved one missing, murdered or in crisis overseas. 2% of the total raised and any funds that are left over once the family's costs have been met will go directly towards helping other families in identical situations.
