Well last year was supposed to be a one-off, but now it looks like I'm hooked!
This year I'm running in memory of my good friend, Geoffrey, who died last summer. His dignity, positive outlook on life and sense of adventure taught me a lot, and I miss him. I want to raise money for the Percy Hedley Foundation which runs the school he attended, and which helped give him the education and independence denied so many disabled people of his generation. The foundation carries on this work with disabled children and adults today, helping people realise their full potential.
