You read right, I am running a 10k, yes a 10k - equivalent to 6.2 miles which is the same distance as from West Hampstead to the Oval in South London.

This is a stepping stone to my eventual registration to a half marathon.........if the experience of completing a 10k does not kill me that is.

I chose the NCB, because throughout my work in Social Services I have seen time over time that social workers focus on the voice of the parents or professional - I strongly believe that children have a voice and that this is something everyone should be working towards.
