This is my 9th or 10th Great North Run - I can't remember which.  (The memory starts to go once you hit 40!). Last year was a personal best - 1 hour 56 minutes and 54 seconds so this year I'll be trying hard to get inside 1 hour 55 minutes.

I'm running to raise money for At Home in the Community.  A really good cause. My friend Kate's sister-in-law lives in one of their homes where they support and enable her to live as full a life as possible. I would therefore be very grateful for any sponsorship.
