As many of you know, I am an adoptive parent of my wonderful son and am in the process to adopt another child. Adoption UK has been one of the main organisations that has helped me and my family on our adoption 'journey'. Luckily for me, I now work for them as the Regional Manager for the North East & Yorkshire!

Also, since the 5th January 2015, I've started my new life by loosing weight and getting fit! I've always wanted to do something like this but haven't had the fitness to be able to do it, so now I'm combining my new found fitness with doing this local challenge for an amazing charity!
