Hi!!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are raising money for an AMAZING charity called Kick4Life

The plan is to raise £5000 in anyway possible..so we're going to be entering lots of grueling sporting events, including:

The Nairnshire challenge (12 mile run and 19 mile bike)

The Edinburgh Marathon (Yes Really!!)

and possibly a winter 3 peaks challenge if anyone will join us?! 

In between this we plan to organise some (as yet undecided) fund raising events to  help us reach our target.

The money raised will go to Kick4Life, a fantastic charity which is based in the small African country Lesotho.  Lesotho is one of the world’s poorest countries with a HIV prevalence of 23.3% and thousands of children orphaned by AIDS. 

Kick for life uses Football – Lesotho’s national sport, to reach children and their families with life saving messages.

The money raised will be used for the facilitation of youth HIV testing at footballing events, 6 week long health education courses, the funding of vulnerable children through secondary school and the opportunities for hundreds of street children to attend daily sports activities and have some fun.

 In June 2010 we will be visiting Lesotho to train and help in crucial communication of HIV education courses and to visit local HIV/AIDS projects, orphanages and schools.  Along with this we will be (mostly Jim!) playing in local football matches...which should be entertaining for the locals!

PLEASE HELP US!...in anyway you can…We will update our page with events that we will be doing, so if you feel you can sponsor us for any amount no matter how small, every penny counts and would be hugely appreciated!
