Hello! EACH · 25 June 2012

We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

Hello everyone!

Most of you know that I am very passionate about the work that is being done by the great folks at EACH and over the last six months I have learned that even a small donation can make a huge difference, for example:

£5 could pay for art and craft materials for a session of specialist play

£10 allows our catering staff to prepare and cook meals for family members staying at the hospice

£37 provides an hour of music therapy, stimulating movement and encouraging the children to express their feelings and emotions

£74 could pay for two hours of bereavement support for a family member

£296 can pay for eight hours of short break care, allowing families a chance to rest, spend time with other family members and to recharge their batteries.

A few months ago I joined forces with Kim, and let me tell you she has been amazing when it comes to thinking up fun ways to raise money for this great charity.  After she talked to them, Hello! Magazine gave us a 6-month subscription to use to help raise funds and so we thought that a raffel would be a neat way to choose a winner.  For every £1 you donate you will recieve 1 entry into a random drawing.  On August 1, 2012 I will draw a winner using a random number generator and will contact the winner.  Because the paperwork that the winner would receive clearly says open to UK residents only, Kim and I thought that if you want to enter but are not in the UK that the subscription could be sent, in your name, to the EACH Campus of your choice so that family members and teens could enjoy reading and the little kids could use them in art projects later.

Make sure that when you donate the Administrator of this page can see your email address so Kim and I can contact you if you win
