The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy is a charity worthy of my efforts on a bicycle and your donation. Amongst the help that the Centre gives to children suffering from cerebral palsy and their families is a school for children up to age 11.
‘When Charlie started attending the school group, he had never sat unsupported and didn’t talk. Now he has learnt to sit independently and is always asking questions! Charlie also joins in with singing in the conductive education classes each morning. He’s also learnt to use a K-walker to move about the school.’
The charity employs Conductive Education, a system devised in Hungary, hence the setting for our challenge this year to ride around Lake Balaton (200 miles) in 3 days.
As with previous rides, I will be paying for my own travel and accomodation. Every penny you donate will go to the children in the London Centre.
