My story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and support our London Marathon appeal. All three of our runners successfully completed the Marathon. Alice and Jonathan both broke three hours and Jeremy took a little over four. It was a lovely sunny day and the cheering crowds were a wonderful support.
The race is finished now but the appeal is still open and lots of people have given since the race (over £2000 in the offline total). Thanks very much and please give now if you have been meaning to but didn't get round to it. You can do it easily here on line or get a from from Maggie or at Playgroup.
The Longparish Community Project is building a new home for our playgroup and also a new Community Hall and two new classrooms at our village school. We have been planning for years and now it is really starting to happen. The builders are working hard and the buildings will be finished this autumn. We have the money for them already but it does not include equipment.
Alice, Jonathan and Jeremy are all members of the steering group for the whole project but the HELP appeal is for one aspect - equipping the playgroup. Alice is the Playgroup treasurer, she and Jonathan are parents of 4 of its children and Jeremy's wife Maggie is one of the supervisors so it is very close to our hearts.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Longparish Playgroup will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please help make this dream come true and sponsor us now! Please include a comment when you make your gift. It makes this page more fun for other people who visit it.
Many thanks for your support.
