Fundraising for Nottingham University Hospitals Charity
Story
Hello!
This is a first for me and a mammoth challenge. I'm going to be cycling 200 miles from Edinburgh to Newcastle alongside a fabulous team. (I know it's much easier to get the train!) We'll be riding over 3 days which is approx 67 miles a day!
The aim is to raise vital funds in order to buy a brand new digital mammography unit for Nottingham Breast Institue. On a personal level I can't express how important this piece of machinery is. It really does save lives. Both my Auntie and my Mum’s Breast Cancer was detected early enough to intervene and put the correct treatments in place because of this fantastic machine! The care my own Mum has received at Nottingham hospital has been outstanding.
