I started getting into running towards the end of last year, and I started to really enjoy it. I  found it such a release to get out and run around London, and I set myself goals and targets which I met way earlier than I thought. So I decided to set myself a crazy target and that was for the half marathon in October.

Doing an event like this was never something I thought I could do, let alone want to do.

I have never raised money for charity like this, so it has been an amazing journey knowing all my training and motivation is for such a great cause.

When I found out I could run for Macmillan I jumped at the chance. So many people are dealing with cancer in their families, or will have to in the future, so to raise money to help everyone going through this will be an honour.
