Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving sponsorship page. As you can see over on the left of the page I am running the London Virgin Marathon in aid of the charity Possibilities (www.possibilities.org.uk). This is a small charity managed by some friends of mine who take a very active part in how the money raised is used. They have been over to Uganda several times spending time with the children they support and getting very hands on with the projects they are undertaking. What they are doing is truly amazing and life changing for the children they work with. If you scroll through the photos on the left you can see some of my friends with the children (and ignore the photo of me!). I have wanted to support this charity for a couple of years now and because of securing a marathon place through the ballot rather than running directly for one of the bigger charities I am now able to do so.
My running is going well. I am well into my schedule and am, mostly, enjoying it all! Any amount you sponsor makes a difference. Mainly to the children supported by the charity but also to keeping me motivated and supported. Thank you, every penny counts!!
