Stephen Berryman, Daryl Borley, Dave Chapman, Neil Jeffries, Joe Newman, Gareth Shimmon, Anthony Wilson, Kaare Graesboell, Abid Bin-Tarif, Giles Weaver and Bartek Bankowski of the Institute for Animal Health have joined forces to grow embarassing moustaches for Movember.
*Update* Since the beginning of November our numbers have swelled to 11. I hope these factors are incentive enough for people to donate and many thanks to those who have already have.
Terry has managed to bribe himself out of contention with a very generous donation, and so his beard is no longer subject to removal.

"Prostate cancer is curable while it is confined to the prostate, but very difficult to treat once it spreads outside the prostate. The main treatment for prostate cancer that has spread, hormone therapy, was introduced in the 1940s. Consequently there has been little improvement in the survival of men with metastatic prostate cancer for over 50 years and why we want to develop new treatments. By identifying the changes that make prostate cancer cells grow and spread to other parts of the body, we aim to improve management, develop new treatment and increase the survival of men with prostate cancer."
