Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

If I raise £150, British Gas will match the first £150 I raised through employee volunteering.

So £150 = £300. Thank You British Gas : http://www.britishgas.co.uk/products-and-services/boilers.html

I'm back....Sadly due to a bad car accident in June 2008, I could not do the Seasonal Circuit last year, but walking has been prescribed to help my back injuries, and I am going to give it a go again on 2nd January 2010.

Thank You to all who sponsored me online and offline in 2007, you helped to raise a fantastic:-

£1,700 including Gift Aid (£1,595 before Gift Aid) - and in total the team of 7 people I walked with raised just over £3,000.

Why I am walking to help the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust:

My father sadly passed away aged just 60 in 2002 from mesothelioma. He worked with Asbestos in the Great Western Railway as an Electrical Engineer, and this is where the cancer came from.

He had excellent care at the Hospice. My mother and my sister (pictured with me to the left) both had breast cancer, and sadly my sister Julie Stone died in March 2007 from polminary odema at 33yrs. I am walking 10km to support the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust in the memory of my father and sister, and other close friends whom have also been in the Hospice.

The Hospice is a wonderful place with many kind and caring people, and I hope the money raised will make someones life more comfortable. Hopefully, one day, the world will find a cure for this terrible desease.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Weldmar Hospicecare Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
