Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, which is set up to raise money for The Donor Family Network.
The page sits alongside a series of acoustic music concerts which I am also organising in order to raise money for the same cause. The gigs take place in the Cellar Bar of The Shed Live Music Venue which is on Yeoman Street in Leicester. If you can come along, please do...they've been great nights so far, admission is £3, and all proceeds go to Donor Family Network. The next 3 nights are December 4th, January 8th, and February 5th.
Why The Donor Family Network ? I'm sure many people who raise money for charity are first moved to do so by seeing and feeling something that happens to people close to them, and this is no different. Two very good friends of mine lost their teenage son several years ago in a road accident. The Donor Family Network has been a great support to them in the aftermath of a truly terrible experience, and they wanted to be able to raise some money so that others might get that same support.
