Since 1989 ChildHope UK has worked with girls and boys who are vulnerable to violence and injustice. These children are typically living on, or at risk of coming to the streets, abused or exploited, forced into hazardous work, orphaned, or lacking access to education and medical care. Today, ChildHope works in partnership with civil society organisations in Africa, Asia and South America, tackling the causes and consequences of violence against boys and girls. Together, we are working to: " Reduce child abuse and exploitation " Improve child justice and participation " Promote the rights of children affected by HIV and AIDS

My story

Dear all,

Right everybody, haven't pestered you for donations for a while now so thought well why not? Doing my first full 26.something mile marathon in Fleetwood on 13th September 2009. Should be fun, may even pop to blackpool after for a gander at the illuminations & some pollution.

On a serious note, Child hope is a very worthy cause (check website www.childhope.org.uk ) They do exactly what they say on the tin; with children from very different backgrounds to our own who haven't been given a chance and have no hope. My good friend Tim Jenner works for Child Hope and he is a great ambassador for the work they do, so why not help?

And, with out meaning to sound like one of those adverts on tv, every little bit makes a difference to the lives of vulnerable kids who suffer poverty and violence every day. So please donate. I know its credit crunch time n all that, but come on, its all relative.
