<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</p> <p>With no previous experience we've decided to cycle from Bristol to Lands End this summer with our tents and it would be nice if we could raise some money for the Alkaptonuria Society.</p> <p>Because AKU is a very rare disease it is really difficult for patients, their families and doctors to gain experience and information.The AKU society are a wonderful, friendly and very dedicated group of people working hard to support people with AKU, create a worldwide network for research and information and in the UK are supporting moves towards a national centre with the hope that structured investigation and treatment will become available on the NHS.</p> <p>We have already received a generous donation from one of the campsites we are staying at and we hope to raise further money for this worthy cause.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
