Update 12/09/2011

God that was windy yesterday.....I ran Peterhead 1/2 Marathon on Sunday the 11/9/11 in what can only be described as a very windy. Not matter how the wind wanted to slow me down i managed to push through and finish in 2hr 35min.  Next in 3 weeks in the big one Loch Ness Marathon.  fingers crossed i can walk again by then.  legs a little sore this morning.

Update 22/8/2011

The challenge has changed as the training has progressed, Edinburgh was a failure due to injuries so never managed to run.  Since then i decided to change the challenge target to 2 x 10k, 2 x 1/2 marathon and 2 x Marathon in 2011.  So far the 2 x 10k are complete.

Please motivate me by donating to the stupid challenge i have decided to do.  Every penny counts for such a worth while charity.

==========

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After struggling through my first marathon in Edinburgh May 2010 in what i can only describe as " to hot for running" i have decided to punish my body twice as much for 2011.

My plan is to run TWO marathons in 2011 with Edinburgh being the first in May then end the year in October by running the Loch Ness Marathon.

Most of you will know i am more built for comfort than speed and the thought of putting myself through "did i say TWO marathons already" i will really have to push myself.

My training for Edinburgh couldnt have gone worst as injuries took over in the last months before the big day so i plan on planing and training smarter this time.

I have decided to raise money the time for MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT as recently i have been made aware of so many familes around me have battled the big Cancer, some winning and some losing.

Please give generously and support this great cause.  The more i rasie the more determined i will be when training for this challenge ahead.
