Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am destined to do the Great North Run and I thought I would also raise some funds for the Forget-Me-Not Trust, a charity who are building a Children's Hospice in West Yorkshire.
Those who know me will have seen that I am not built like a runner, so all the more reason that this is worth giving a few quid! I have done the event a few times before, though I usually give them time to re-surface the course before I enter again! This time I have followed an on-line training programme, though late in the day I discovered 'trainforthegreatnorthrun.com' can easily be mistaken for 'trainforthegreatnorthpieeatingcontest.com'. Never mind, I'll do my best.
