Story

Ian Probert and George Tziros in epic 420km cycle challenge.

From the 27th – 3 July 2010 George and I are competing in an epic, off road cycle race in Vancouver, Canada (www.bcbikerace.com). The trail starts in Vancouver, then makes its way over to Vancouver Island and finally ends in the Whistler Mountains.  It is approximately 420km (260miles) over the 7 days, with well over 10,000m (32808 feet) of hill climbing!!

We are riding for the following two charities: Barnardos (www.barnardos.org.uk) and the Lake District Mountain Rescue Team (www.ldsamra.org.uk).  We chose the former because we each have two children of our own and the latter because they are a local charity who do sterling job.
Feel free to choose a single charity or split your donation between the two.
You can donate on this web site for the Lake District Mountain rescue and Barnardos via http://www.justgiving.com/George-Tziros

Please donate what you can; thanks very much.
