Headfirst exists to raise funds to support research into acute conditions of the nervous system which result in mental and physical disability. These could be due to a stroke, brain tumour, sudden brain haemorrage or to a serious head injury.

My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Norwich Half Marathon on 29th November 2009 - my 37th birthday!!!

What a great way to celebrate!

I am going to try to beat my time of 2:02 last year and get under the 2hour mark. (wish I'd done more training now it's getting close!)

I have decided to try to raise some money for the charity headfirst. They support research into head injuries, stroke and associated brain damage. Check out their website.

If you're about on my birthday, come and cheer me on, or better still, buy me a drink to celebrate afterwards!
