My story

Following the success of last year’s 400 mile cycle ride the memories of pain, rain and general discomfort have dwindled and the team are back ready to raise another staggering amount with another feat of endurance.
In September 2011 the Inch by Inch Cycle Team will be climbing back into the saddle in an effort to raise even more money for Shooting Star CHASE.
This year perennial cyclists Nigel Woodman and James Tayler are joined by last year’s back up crew Paul Redman and Ben Bradley. Paul and Ben, who drove the support vehicle last year, take up the cycling challenge along with Chris Rooke. Together the five intrepid bikers will travel 400 miles from North Wales to Kent, traversing the UK visiting as many Inchcape Retail Centres and offices as possible.
The ride will start at Mercedes Benz of North Wales in Llandudno, on Monday 12 September. The team will cross the Peaks, sweep down through the midlands into London visiting Inchcape’s Head Office in St James’s Square and then on to Kent, finishing at East Kent Audi in Canterbury on Saturday 17 September.
There will regular updates on their journey and you will be able to track their progress via a daily blog available on The Light.
This is another magnificent fundraising event and once again you can be sure that 100% of the funds raised will be donated to the charity to really make a difference. Please donate or add words of encouragement for the Inch by Inch team.
