I will be doing a skydive in August 2011 (Ramadhan) to raise money for Agapao International to provide clean water and facilities for women and children in Ugandan villages. Please show your support by sponsoring me.
Uganda is one of the poorest countries in the world. Clean drinking water is a basic necessity and some people do not realise that disease and illness can be prevented.
A village standpipe provides clean water, thereby reducing illness and improving health for the whole community and costs only £100, saving women and children from walking miles every day, carrying 25 litre jerry cans.
By the age of 30 a Ugandan woman will have walked the equivalent of 5 times around the world - just collecting water for her family. Please pass on this information to friends and family.
