Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Firstly thanks for you emails and calls of support on this.  I am pleased to say that I have spoken with Sensei and Hisako San and all is well.  They are very appreciative of all of your thoughts and wishes.

I am writing to confirm that the seminar will go ahead on:
Sunday the 17th April.  at:
The Irene Usher Memorial Pavillion, Rusty Lane, Seend, Wiltshire SN12 6NS.
We will do a 2 hour session from 2-4pm.  The aim after all is to come together in support as one student put it so well:

'.....Besides which I owe one of the greatest benefits in my life to people I have never met in a small town most people have never heard of in an island nation I have never visited. If by donating I help in some small way during an hour of need it will be a modest recognition of the enourmous debt of gratitude I owe to the wonderful traditional Aikido community in Iwama.

I hope one day to convey my thanks (and sweat!) in person at Hitohira Sensei's dojo when the country will have recovered and these difficult times are but a memory. In the meantime a simple donation is all I can offer. Please let me know where to send the money.....'

Put far more eloquently than I could have put it.

I am not setting a cost for the seminar.  This will be up to each person individually to decide as to what they feel they can afford.  Cleeve House are also supporting the seminar and are not charging us for the 2 hours.  Therefore all monies raised will go Directly to the affected areas to help survivors.
We can all go for a drink afterwards (The Welsh contingent expressly asked for this; they had to twist my arm).

Thank you all for your support and I look forward to seeing you on a positive afternoon.
