J Warwick Hele CBE, former High Master of St Paul's School 1973-86 died peacefully at home on 4th August 2011 aged 85. Dearest husband of Audrey and father of Ann, Jane, Sarah and Rachel. Mr Hele was born in Carlisle and educated at Sedbergh and, as an adult, had a holiday home in Blindcrake. Donations in lieu of flowers to Cumbria Community Foundation.
