JAMES BRYCE IS STILL FOR THE HIGH JUMP! AGAIN!

For those of you who have been following this (and Scottish cloud movements over the last year),  the tandem parachute jump has been cancelled for the 5th time! I can now reveal that GODOT MUST LIVE NEAR STRATHALLAN AIRFIELD.

So, my traditional vertigo has now been replaced by  Zen-like calm coupled with a determination to do it before I have to be accompanied by a Zimmer.

The jump has been rescheduled for
- ON 29th APRIL 2012 at STRATHALLAN AIRFIELD (Off the B8062 above Auchterarder)  - I am to be strapped to a parachutist and will fling myself out of a plane with a plentiful supply of spare underpants.

HOWEVER, of the five brave souls who originally signed up to do this, only two remain (as far as the jump is concerned - the other three are still alive, or at least were at time of typing),

SO we hardy two will be phoning for cancellations each weekend till then till we bludgeon destiny into flinging us out the plane. I will keep you posted.

I am paying for the cost of the jump, but  I am using this experience as a way to raise funds for the charity ROKPA, specifically for the education of Tibetan orphans.
A friend has been in Tibet many times, working for this organisation, and I am aware of the great work it does.

So......... in anticipation of my return to Earth, I am asking you to donate anything – no matter how small - to Rokpa via this "just giving" site. If you have already given, my thanks. Please tell your friends.

Further details on the education projects can be found in the attached pdf and on Rokpa in general at http://www.rokpa.org/
