Dear All,
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page - (Mange tak for dit besøg til min velgørenhedsside).
Having experienced one of the most interesting and enlightening experiences last year in , I have once again decided to participate in another big cycling and fundraising challenge.
In November 2010 I will cycle nearly 450 km in five days for International Childcare Trust and visit the M’Lop Tapang project in .
ICT is a small charity which works in direct partnership with local organizations in Africa and to protect children’s rights; Such as their right to an education and to a healthy, happy childhood.
M’Lop Tapang is a Cambodian NGO working with the street children of Sihanoukville. The goal of this project is to offer support, protection, positive choices and hope to street children and their families. They aim to reintegrate street children back to education, their families and their community, allowing them to live happy and independent lives again (http://www.mloptapang.org/)
I am aware that a lot of you have already supported me last year for Cycling Tanzania, but having seen the work they do first hand has made me realize the importance of ICT in helping aid the future of those less fortunate than ourselves.
Costs associated with the trip will be paid by me and my relatives totaling a donation of £1500.
Many thanks for your support - it is much appreciated!! (Tusind tak for din støtte – den er virkelig værdsat).
All the very best,
Jacob
