Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am setting off to cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End (JOG-LE) on 14th June 2010. I am very excited about this trip and I expect it will take about 30 days or so to complete. I am a keen and experienced cycle tourist and I want to add the classic ride of JOG-LE to my CV while at the same time raising some donations for the Mid-Cheshire College supported charity 'African Support & Assistance Project' (ASAP), see the website: www.asapnet.co.uk The Project has the aim of building and equiping a new school in Lesotho to replace one destroyed in a hurricane. Currently the pupils are taught in the open air and are sent home if the weather is bad. Building is scheduled to begin in 12 months time.
I will ride across Northern Scotland and then down the West Coast, visiting Mull and Arran islands. Then on to Dumfries & Galloway before taking the ferry to Northern Ireland. I will return to the mainland on the Belfast to Birkenhead ferry and continue my journey south via Cheshire, Shropshire, Oxfordshire, Dorset and Cornwall to reach Lands End.
