I will update this on a weekly basis, everyone of you deserve a special mention for without your support I would not be able to raise this money.

Since beginning this Fundraising, a very dear friend and patient at The Rowans Hospice has lost her battle with Cancer. Helen, I am doing this for you!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

THE SKYDIVE DATE HAS NOW BEEN SET!!!! SATURDAY 6th MARCH 2010 FROM SALISBURY AIRFIELD

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

The Rowans Hospice is a very special place, I am a daycare patient there for one day a week and the staff and volunteers are absolutely wonderful. Until I went to the Rowans I felt lonely, in limbo and just waiting and wondering when and how I would die, now, I am cared for, my pain relief is managed and I no longer feel alone. Living with terminal cancer is a lonely place to be unless you have the support and knowledge that the hospice provides.

All care is given without charge but The Rowans need to generate in excess of £3M income each year and support from the community is vital.

The Rowans Hospice is a voluntary independent hospice which exists to provide specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting illnesses redident in South East Hampshire and their relatives and carers. The services is provided free, irrespective of the nature of the illness, creed or means, and aims to complement the overall provision of palliative care within the community.

Have a look at their website www.rowanshospice.co.uk

For someone like myself who has a life threatening illness The Rowans have given me so much emotional support and I count myself as fortunate to have been referred to them

I shall die at the Rowans Hospice but hopefully not before I have completed the 10.000 feet skydive, freefalling at over 120mph and then at 5.000 feet the canopy opens.....................I hope!

I don't meet any of the medical requirements but my Doctor has signed the consent form................so let's do it!!

PLEASE help, I just want to give something back
