Last year I did one 5km swim in around 2 hours. I've realised that I'm not going to get much faster so this year I've decided to swim more instead of faster. I will be swimming one 5k after work on the Friday and then one Sunday morning and another one Sunday afternoon. Most people would probably do one each day but I've got other stuff on the Saturday so feck it, it'll be grand.

The event is raising funds for two great organisations in Cancer Research and Marie Currie. Both doing trojan work. Definitely worth chucking them a few quid. Please consider donating.

Ill certainly be wrecked by the end of Sunday. I'm not certain I'm actually able for it. Sure we will see.
