History:

I have visited Eastern Europe now regularly since 1992. I take these trips  annually and in the early years it was mainly humanitarian aid. I have built up releationships within Ukraine and in 2007 raised funds along with  other to provide a Sensory room in a Disabled Peoples Centre in Mukachevo Ukraine. At that time there was no government funding. This has now improved and the whole centre has been modernised.

2010:

I am a member of Harvest Christian Fellowship Hamilton Scotland UK and I'm walking around Strathclyde Country Park with other members of my Church on Sunday 18th April 2010. This is to raise funds for a mission I'm leading into Eastern Europe between 12th May 2010 to 19th May 2010.

The countries I'm visiting this trip will be Ukraine to visit the disabled people's centre, Hungary and Serbia. The main thrust of the mission this year is to raise funds for very disadvantaged people in Serbia. During this winter it was extremely cold in Serbia even worse than we had it in the UK. The money I'll raise will be used to purchase stoves for these people. This will not only provide much needed cooking facilites but also a means to heat their homes.

Each stove is priced at £100 so if I reach my target of £1,000 I'll be able to purchase 10 stoves.
