Hi everyone.
On 18th October I will be on the lovely, warm and sunny island of Majorca. However, this is not a page requesting your kind donations for a sponsored suntan. At 9am that day I will be starting the Majorca marathon, running (or walking, staggering, crawling...but mainly running) the full 26.2 miles (42.2km) in aid of raising as much money as possible for Baby Lifeline.
The joy of running will not end once I cross the finish line in Majorca though, as the following weekend (Sunday 25th October) I will be taking part in the Coventry Half Marathon, again rasing as much as I can for Baby Lifeline.

I know and appreciate that things are tough financially for everyone now, but any contribution no matter how big or small would be so very gratefully received...and will make the blisters seem a lot less painful
So please try to dig deep and donate whatever you can.
Many thanks,
James
Update 20/10/2009: Managed to complete the Majorca marathon in one piece, and was surprisingly not collapsing over the finishing line in exhaustion after 4 hours 12 minutes and 48 seconds of being on the roads of Palma.
Now very much looking forward to Sunday and running around Coventry for a couple of hours or so.
Update 26/10/2009: Both runs are now complete after spending 1 hour and 44 minutes yesterday morning running around Coventry in what was a thoroughly enjoyable half marathon...although I don't think the knee has found it as enjoyable at all. Time now to think of what to do for next year.
Please do keep the kind donations coming in, every penny helps.
Thanks again.
