<p>Hello</p> <p>Thanks for visiting the site. On Sunday the 27th of May I'll be running the Edinburgh Marathon in aid of Optometry Giving Sight. Optometry Giving Sight provide global assistance to those who cannot afford or do not have access to proper eye care. Their mission and vision statement along with details of their projects can be read at www.givingsight.org..below is a small excerpt from the site...</p> <p><em><strong>Vision</strong></em></p> <p><em>"A world where avoidable blindness and vision loss due simply to the lack of a pair of eye glasses no longer threaten the quality-of-life and future livelihood of children and adults because there is universal access to quality vision and eye care services for all those in need."</em></p> <p>This will be my first Marathon and so dodgy knees permitting I hope to be celebrating at the finish line around 4 o'clock on the 27th!
