While still unborn, one of my girls suffered a stroke, resulting in Hemiparesis, a weakness down one side of her body. Luckily she is a bright, strong-willed individual who will not let anything stop her. We are very lucky, it could easily have been so much worse.

But this experience has opened my eyes to the many problems faced by other families in incredibly difficult circumstances. HemiHelp are there for parents like ourselves, and children like my own. They provide advice and support for families, fun days for the children, and generally increase awareness within the medical community.
