The furthest I've ever ran before has been 8.5 miles in the Sutton Fun Run.......so this might actually kill me!
Training has also taken me away from the nightlife (not completely!) for nearly 5 months of solid training now (which has been painful!!), so Im hoping I can raise a good amount and finish in a good time...! Dig deep people!!
As of early April, Im now up to doing 20 mile training runs, on a Sunday morning whilst everyone else is still in bed....believe me....its not been easy!!!!!!!!
Im running for Fight for Sight. This charity raises money for people who suffer from eye diseases. My Grandmother has lost her sight due to a disease known as Macular Degeneration so this is quite close to my heart and would ask that you have a look at their website to learn more about how they help people like my Grandmother and other sufferes.
