My story
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who donated. I can assure you that it was an uncomfortable experience for me an hopefully a fruitful one for Sophie!

Sophie is only 2 years old and was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a rare liver cancer with a poor prognosis. The cancer had spread to her lungs but after many rounds of chemo and operations she was put into remission early this year. Unfortunately the lung cancer returned and her best option now is to have a new type of surgery which can only be done in the US.
This life-saving surgery needs to take place at the end of July and will cost the family £230,000, and the money needs to be raised by mid july.
I will be taking part in The Great Male Wax, set up just to help raise enough money for this life changing surgery and to support the charity supporting the family. Please donate what you can.

Kids n Cancer UK specialise in assisting families whose children have been diagnosed with life threatening tumours and have been accepted for potentially life saving proton therapy treatment. Proton therapy is the latest form of radiation treatment running at approx. 86% success rate.
