“Jan Toremark's fundraising”

The Steve Redgrave Fund uses the power of sport and sporting activity to bring about positive change in the lives of disadvantaged children, young people and their communities. Money raised by the Steve Redgrave Fund will also be shared equally with Sport Relief, which harnesses the power and passion of sport to change the lives of vulnerable people living in the UK and in the world’s poorest countries.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm doing Vätternrundan this year to celebrate the 20 years gone since I last managed to pedal around the lake. This time I (or Clifford to be truthful) thought that supporting a charity might be a good idea.

I have chosen the Steve Redgrave Fund for the simple reason that he is one of my heroes and if Steve can raise £ 100 000, cycling across America, maybe I can raise £ 100 cycling around the lake. I have always enjoyed working with young people and being pretty useless at sports myself, this is for me a good way to support something that I believe in. Have a look at the link to the left if you want more information about the charity. Thank you all in advance!
