Story
Hi, with only 1 week to go I thought I would update this page and wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has donated so far to the team. As well as this Just Giving page we have some paper sponsor forms and in total we have so far raised just under £800!!!! So if you haven't sponsored any of us yet and would like to then you may be the one who gets us to our target of £1,000!!!! As you will see from the photo's we have been training hard, even Martin, and are all ready for the challenge this time next week. We are starting at 8.30 so will be leaving Sutton at 7.45. We hope to be across the finish line around 2.00pm. Please keep everything crossed for a dry if not sunny day. I will post some photo's of the walk next week. Thanks again to all you great people for parting with your money. Keep Walking!!!!!!!
I completed the first Marsden March and have volunteered at all the others. After the very sad death of Freddie Loh last September I decided to complete the walk again. Hazel and Martin are also going to join me and as you have seen we are walking in memory of Freddie who lost his own battle in September. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and so loved and missed daily by his family and the church community at St John's Old Coulsdon. Over the past 3 years I have lost far to many friends to this dreadful killer and hope that any money we raise on 16th March will give others a better chance to fight and survive. We have set an ambitious target of £1,000 and hope to get as close to this as possible. If you feel you can spare a donation, however small, every pound helps, we 3 will be extreamly greatful. Keep your fingers crossed for a dry day!!!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
