Well, it's that time of year again, and I'm getting ready to do the 30th Great North Run... hopefully this time I'll make it to the start line. After wrecking my Achilles last year, and not being able to run, I'm determined to get round this year to say thankyou to all those who sponsored me last year. I'm not so ambitious to do a fabulous time this year, and hope to get round by run/walking if necessary, as long as my ankle allows!
So for those who have already sponsored me, thankyou so much, and for those friends who would like to sponsor me this year, I'm running for this fantastic charity again, so would really appreciate your support. It's only a small charity, and it does wonderful things locally to support people and families affected by brain haemorrhages and strokes.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
The charity was set up in1996 by Clarke's parents, after he died suddenly of a brain haemorrhage. The charity promotes and funds research into causes and treatment of brain haemorrhage, sharing the results for public benefit. Importantly, it listens to, and supports victims and families of brain haemorrhages, offering a vital support network for them.
Please support this local, much needed charity by sponsoring me to complete (in no record time!) the 2010 Great North Run.
A very big THANKYOU
Jane
