Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are taking part in the Bupa Great North Run on the 7th September 2014 and are raising money for Grace's Wish/Martin House Children's Hospice.  Grace has a life limiting condition called Niemann Pick Type C, she has a twin sister Emily who is unaffected and she also has a brother Harry who lost his fight with NPC aged just 7.   The day of the Great North Run falls on what would have been Harry's 11th Birthday.  Martin House have supported Harry, Grace and Emily and her family from the day that the disease was diagnosed.  It is a place where the family can visit every now and again, to be cared for 24/7 by amazing, wonderful people, a home from home which allows them to recharge their batteries.  Please help us to support these fantastic charities. Grace's story can be found at www.graceswish.co.uk
