In September 2010 I will be going to embark on a challenging yet rewarding trip of a lifetime for 10 days.

I will be heading off to with Childreach International to help renovate a very needy school in a rural area in the Kilimanjaro region. Many children in get no or very little education with up to 80 children in one dark and hot classroom with only one teacher. Many children will  walk up to 15km a day just to get an education and if we can provide clean water and a mid day meal that’s an incentive for parents to let their children make the journey!

By fundraising a target of £2,200 I will be able to work with Childreach International and the local community to build a better, safer and brighter school that is fun for the kids to learn in. Plus I will get to see exactly where the donations go. It’s going to be a trip of a lifetime helping children realise their potential and break the poverty cycle.

I can't wait to get there, pick up a paintbrush and try to make a difference.
