We raise funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients

Story

I have decided it's time I gave something back.  So I'm going to walk from Stevenage Mega Store to Hemel Hempstead via Aylesbury Home Delivery Centre to raise money for the National Brain Appeal.  It's over 50 miles and will take me 3 days.

I'm fundraising for the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen's Square where I have had brain surgery twice and numerous MRI scans.  My condition, neurofibromatosis type 2, causes non-cancerous tumours in the nervous system.  I have 11 tumours at the moment which will continue to need regular monitoring in the new MRI scanner which this appeal will buy.

As most of you know I am not the most energetic of people, much preferring to sit around drinking champagne than doing any form of exercise, so this is proving a huge challenge to me.  Since starting my training on 1st January (in snow and rain) I have completed  500 miles!!  So please dig deep and donate now to keep me going.
