My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
You may recall that I had the chance to visit Nepal back in 2007 and was so touched by my experience there that I have decided to try to raise money for the CAIRN Trust whilst running my very first marathon.
CAIRN is committed to enabling the poorest children in Nepal to gain an education. As part of their programme they equip children with the materials they need to regularly attend school and support them through trained local social workers. My race will be on 15th April 2012 and my goal is to raise £540, enough to transform the lives of at least seven Nepalese children by sending them to school for a year.
