In October, Hazel and I are climbing to base camp of Mount Everest, the highest mountain on earth( 8,848 metres)! It is a 15 day trek which will take us up to 5545 metres high. Hazel and I have been training in the build up to the big hike. In the coming weeks, we plan to climb the three peaks (Snowdon, Scafell, and Ben Nevis) to prepare us for taking on Mount Everest.
We thought this would be a good opportunity to raise money for Friends of East Sussex Hospices. It is a charity, run by volunteers, that raises funds for and promotes awareness of the invaluable services offered by hospices that serve the people of East Sussex. To name but a few; Demelza, St. Wilfred’s Hospice, St. Michael’s Hospice and Leo House at Home.

Many thanks,
Jennah
