I am cycling 500km between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve battling the elements to give a little something back and to show my gratitude to Simon Holmes, my fantastic Maxillofacial surgeon, who helped me after I suffered a nasty facial fracture in a collision at 30kph at the velodrome in August.
