Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
I am walking the entire Isle of Wight coastal path (70 miles!) from 1st - 5th June 2011 to raise money for the tiger conservation project that is funded by the Isle of Wight Zoo via Global Tiger Patrol. Please support us by making a donation either in person or via this page (it's really easy to do - instructions below).
The project works with local people to protect wild tigers in their natural habitat in Kudremukh National Park and Bhadra Tiger Reserve in the Western Ghats region of Karnataka, India.
There are fewer than 3000 tigers left in the wild. They are threatened by habitat destruction and by illegal hunting. The Western Ghat region is one of the few places where tiger numbers are currently fairly stable. The Isle of Wight Zoo is proud to be involved in this success.
The zoo needs to raise several thousand pounds for this project and this walk is one of several fundraising events taking place over the next few weeks. Please help by sponsoring me on this walk.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
