Fundraising for Women V Cancer Cycle Challenges - Cycle Africa

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am taking part in the Women V Cancer 2015 challenge of cycling across Tanzania in October to raise sponsorship for three amazing women's cancer charities: Breast Cancer Care, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action. These three brilliant charities work to provide vital support, information and awareness for women battling against cancer, and fund research into improving women's chances of survival.

The challenge involves a gruelling 350km cycle ride across rural Tanzania, starting at the base of Mt Kilamanjaro and finishing at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is certainly going to be tough tackling the terrain, heat and climate of Africa, but will be worth it for the cause. I am lucky to be doing it with three great school friends - Katherine Cooper, Katherine Ashdown, and Heather Alford - to help each other along the way.
