My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Now running a half marathon!

As many of you who know me well will know, I hate running, but next year I will be running a half marathong to raise money for the EAVEs project, who help to protect and rebuild the lives of women who have been forced into slavery in the UK. This year the have lost around £4 million in goverment funding for the Poppy project which helps women who have been trafficked into the UK, and they only have 54 beds across the UK available to the victims who need them. Many are forced into domestic servitude, but more are forced into prostitution, often lured to the UK under false pretenses believing a better life awaits them.

Over the next few months, I'd like to show you how important this cause is by training in all weathers, changing my diet, and runnings myself ragged. If the current target amount of £200 is exceeded, I'll do one better and start training for a half marathon, Thats 20Km!!! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed, and giving regular updates, please remember how much I hate running and donate! Thank you!
