The reason I am taking part in the York charity race to raise money for Macmillan is that it’s a charity close to my heart as I lost my Dad to cancer in 2004. I wanted to do something in his memory that would make him proud and also support Macmillan as they do such a fantastic job.

The race will take place on the 15th June 2013 and is a 1 mile 1 furlong flat race.
